Environmental
Paper Procurement

There’s more to being environment-conscious about your paper usage than just picking a stock labeled “recycled” without fully qualifying it. It means knowing everything you can about the paper and its fiber. Is it legally logged? Does it originate from a sustainably managed forest? Is it truly made from renewable resources? Is it Chain of Custody certified?

We represent a vast number of North American and European paper mills and products that meet all these criteria. GC is the first paper and print consultant in the world to be triple Chain of Custody certified with the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC®), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC).

GC can consult with your company to help you:

  • Recognize increasingly complex environmental issues
  • Establish and accomplish your environmental goals
  • Develop an environment-friendly paper procurement policy
  • Create strategies to lighten your environmental footprint
  • Understand Chain of Custody and forest certification
  • Gain perspective on ENGOs and their environmental actions
  • Produce environmental labeling for your products
  • Understand the Lacey Act and source your paper legally
